With an emphasis on quality timeless design and a relaxed supple silhouette, we work in release numbers. Each release works with the last and each piece is created to enhance your everyday life with a versatility that can move between day and night, seasons and datelines.
Utilising Turkish and Japanese cottons, Italian wool and cashmere as well as small runs of deadstock and textile mill leftovers, we produce in limited small quantities and aim to keep waste to a minimum throughout every stage of the development and manufacturing process. Our Vitals range reflects our core companion pieces which we aim to restock for you year round.
Made with an uncompromising commitment to craft and detail by local artisans and suppliers in Auckland, New Zealand, Jaimie garments are made with love and consideration right from the initial first spark of inspiration to the final execution with every little detail managed for an impeccable finish.
Each Jaimie piece provides not only physical comfort but an intrinsic, emotional comfort and natural self-confidence.
New Zealand born Jaimie Webster Haines grew up under the fabric cutting table with both parents running their own businesses in
the clothing trade. With the name Webster meaning weaver it is no coincidence that clothing is in Jaimie’s blood.
After graduating from Auckland’s Elam school of Fine Arts Jaimie started modelling after a brief job as a photographer’s assistant. This took her around the world alongside stints in retail due to her obsession with clothing and all things style related at Belinda and The Corner Shop in Sydney, Browns in London and Scotties Boutique in Auckland. This was the beginning of Jaimie’s education and immersion into the craft of clothing and design.
In her own words – “I have always loved to create, and the next obvious step was to also make the clothes!”
Her label Jaimie is a true reflection of her lifelong dedication and love for the art of dressing, design, music and art, or what she refers to as her “heart’s desire”.
Jaimie is also a much respected and in demand DJ - her husband is internationally renowned musician and producer Nathan Haines –
and as a duo they work together and create magic for many of the world’s top brands and for parties and events.
